Sunday, June 24 was my birthday. A few months ago I was very excited when I learned I’d be celebrating my birthday in England!
To get to church we went over Queen Elizabeth’s bridge. You’ll notice that it is only a one way bridge. To get back you have to drive through a tunnel under the river.
(Look at the next picture below) Aunt Mary gave me the blue cup/mug that says Harrods on it. Harrods is an enormous (and fun!) shop in London.
Lydia gave me the Disney wallet that she said she had bought for me last time she went to Disneyland in April.
Grace gave me the note pad with the England cover on it.
Nana gave me the chocolate champagne bottle, or as Uncle Darren called it “the chocolate Martinelli’s bottle.” It is Thornton Chocolate, which is an English made chocolate.
Papa Norton gave me a 1989 set of English money! I had been planning on trying to save one of each coin, but now I have a whole set of my birth year and they are all very shiny too!
Lydia brought a present from Mommy: a shirt she had bought last April in Disneyland as well. Love it!
It rained for a bit Sunday afternoon. That is a first for me: I’ve never seen it rain on my birthday before! Very awesome!
I had a lovely day and I feel very blessed. Thank you everyone for the facebook and email messages.
P.S. I’ll save you from having to do the math. I am 23. 🙂
