Jump Rope to Israel

My brother Zack and I have a wonderful opportunity to go to Israel this August. We are teaching a jump rope camp as a fundraiser for our trip.

We are going to Israel with Zechariah’s Hope (Z-Hope).

“The vision of Z-Hope includes facilitating teams of like-hearted believers to visit Israel, clean, paint, and stock shelters. It is in this context that mutual bonds of trust and love are formed, and then hearts are opened. These objectives are ongoing and provides us, as donors and visitors, a personal and impacting way to show the love of Jesus Christ. After serving Israel, and thus the Lord, we enjoy the Land of Israel with great depth and insight. We enjoy the sights pilgrims often frequent, and a few, most visitors have never heard of.”Β Z-Hope website.

Click here to go to the Z-Hope website to learn more about them. Our trip is 2 weeks long, August 7-18th. The founder of Z-Hope, Carl Palinkas, is our Uncle Joe’s brother (the brother of our dad’s brother-in-law). Zack and I both need to raise $3900 for this trip.

The jump rope camp we are teaching is July 22-26, every morning from 8-10am. We are teaching it on donation only, 100% of what you give will go towards our goal.Β Click here to go to the webpage I made to learn more about this (very fun!) jump rope camp.

Congratulations to you and Zack. It sounds like the trip of a lifetime and, besides, it is a good thing to do. …. The jump rope camp must have been a lot of fun for the kids. It takes much planning and organization to put on something like that.
A group of 55 adults and youth from our church just returned this past weekend after spending a week on a mission trip to Baja CA, about 200 miles south of the border. They served in areas of medical, dental, children’s ministries and construction. The construction consisted of re-roofing an old church and then painting several houses and installing a septic tank.
