We have a tradition where the Birthday person gives everyone else party favors. Molly and Hope are excited for their little present from Daddy.

Daddy’s mom, Grandma Wilma, called to wish him a happy birthday. The little girls enjoyed talking on the phone with her too.

Awww that is so cute. I think that is really cute that the birthday person gives out presents to everyone else. I love the joy and excitement when you give another person a present like I was more excited about giving presents, then I was about receiving them at Christmas. And that first cake is so cute!:) Who made it?

    • Abbey says:

Hi Grace, the cake was made by Beyond Bread, (it’s like a fancy Panera). Emily and Grandma had grand plans of making a chocolate cake for Dad, but somehow it was a flop… So we bought him special cakes at Beyond Bread. 🙂
Yes, you’re right, it is more blessed to give than to receive.

Awesome pictures Abbey, I love the ones talking on the phone to Grandma Wilma.

Yes, those phone pictures were adorable! I contemplated doing a whole blog on them, I took a few more cute ones of them talking to Grandma Wilma!
