Spring Break Trip (part 1)

Last month my sister and I went on a trip to California for our spring break. Our trip began with spending time with some very good friends of ours, whom we’ve known for over 15 years. Mrs. R and Mrs. J are sisters and there are nine cousins between the two families. We had so much fun playing with our friends, chatting with their mom’s, sewing and crocheting with the girls, horse back riding, going to Old Town Sac, and cracking up over YouTube videos in the evening.

The two Lydia’s playing at the park.

Baby J is loved by one and all. We met him for the first time on this trip, and the first time I held him he laid his head on my shoulder and snuggled with me. He is so cuddly and adorable! Here his cousin is playing with him:

The kids take horse back riding lessons, and my sister and I joined them for a great day of fun.

We had a lovely time with both these families and will treasure all the memories we made with them on this trip. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. J, and Mr. and Mrs. R for all you did to make this trip so special for us.

Stay tuned in for Spring Break Trip (Part 2)…
