Christmas Eve 2012

Christmas Eve

LEGO train

We have a family tradition of drawing names between my siblings and I.

We opened our sibling presents on Christmas Eve. This is all of us kids, except Zack. The reason is explained later.

all but Zack

I drew Steven’s name and gave him a wolf t-shirt, and a computer LEGO game themed with The Lord of the Rings.

Lydia drew Emily’s name and made her a princess dress modeling it after Rapunzel in the Disney movie Tangled. Emily grabbed a frying pan and a camelon to complete the tableau.

"Frying pans! Who knew, right?"

Zack drew Lydia’s name and gave her a wireless mouse for her lap top.

Jacob drew my name and gave me a pair of red converse shoes. I love them!

Emily drew Jacob’s name and gave him walkie-talkies.

Steven drew Zack’s name and gave him an air soft rifle. We don’t have a picture of this as Zack wasn’t with us on Christmas Eve. He spent the month of December in San Bernardino with Aunt Nancy and Uncle Steve helping them with their Salvation Army ministry there.

We haven’t included the little girls in the sibling gift exchange yet as they are too young, so Mom helped them give a present to each other. Low and behold, they each received the same exact baby doll! They are both motherly little girls.

Grandma Roome made Molly and Hope princess dresses.

I made my Mom place mats.

Hope said, “Take a picture of me, Abbey!” So I did.

Lydia made a veggie wreath to go with our Christmas lunch.
